In a project where a 100 kW electric motor was converted,
average per hour
There is a 20 kg carbon reduction.
If it is assumed that working 12 hours a day, 300 days a year,
total carbon footprint reduction is 72 t/year.
You can calculate your own carbon emission reduction according to the kW and working hours of your machine.
Example: A 355 kW electric motor has been converted and a work machine engaged in decoupage in a mine works for an average of 20 hours a day, 330 days a year. Annual carbon emission reduction:
C = 20 kg x 355 kW ÷ 100 kW x 20 h/day x 330 days/year
C = 468,600 kg/year
C ≈ 469 t/year
As can be seen, a huge carbon saving is achieved.
